Wspaniała kartka otrzymana w ramach RRa zorganizowanego na naszym postcrossingowym wątku na wizażu :)
Mitre Peak to najczęściej fotografowana góra Nowej Zelandii. Swoją nazwę zawdzięcza mitrze - nakryciu głowy biskupów. Jest położona w Zatoce Milforda - obleganej przez turystów kończących turystyczny szlak Milford, dzięki czemu góra jest tak popularna.

Mitre Peak is the most photographed mountain in New Zealand. Its name comes after mitre - the headwear of Christian bishops. It's located in the Milford Sound - besieged by tourists finishing the touristic Milford Track, thus the Mitre Peak is so popular.

73. Nowa Zelandia

Marta mieszka w Nowej Zelandii (czego jej potwornie zazdroszczę) w Wellington i twierdzi, że to jedno z najpiękniejszych miast na ziemi. Istnieje tam nawet powiedzenie powtarzane przez miejscowych, gdy jest ładna pogoda: "There's nothing better than Wellington on a good day", czyli "Nie ma nic lepszego niż Wellington w dobry dzień". 
Stolica Nowej Zelandii znajduje się na 12. miejscu w rankingu najlepszych miast do życia. 
Paczka od Marty zawierała również kolekcję znaczków z "Hobbita", które zostały wydane z okazji premiery tego filmu, który był kręcony w Nowej Zelandii. 


Marta lives in New Zealand (I'm sooo jealous!) in Wellington and claims that this is one of the most beautiful places in the world. There's even a saying repeated by local people when there's a nice weather: "There's nothing better than Wellington on a good day".
The capital of new Zealand is on the 12th place in the ranking of the best cities to live.
The pack from Marta contained also collection of the "Hobbit" stamps which has been released because of the premiere of this film which was shot in New Zealand.

Niusuance made my next great postcard dream come true - New Zealand!

Moja pierwsza map card. Jak pokazałam tą kartkę babci, to nie mogła uwierzyć, że Nowa Zelandia jest tak daleko i dostałam stamtąd pocztówkę :) 
Zdawałoby się, że Nowa Zelandia jest dość bliskim sąsiadem Australii, jednak dzieli je ponad 2000 km. W jej skład wchodzą m.in. Wyspy Północna i Południowa, Wyspa Stewarta, Wyspy Auckland i Wyspy Antypodów oraz Wyspy Cooka i Niue, które są traktowane jak państwa stowarzyszone, ponieważ są samorządne. Głową państwa jest królowa Elżbieta II, ale w jej imieniu rządzi gubernator.

My first map card. When I showed it my grandmother she couldn't believe that New Zealand is so far away and I got a postcard from there :) 
Seemingly New Zealand is a close neighbour of Australia but there are over 2000 km between them. New Zealand contains i.a. the North and South Island, the Stewart Island, the Auckland Islands and the Antipodes Islands and the Cook Islands and Niue which are treated as the associated countries because they're autonomus. The head of the country is Queen Elizabeth II but a governor rules in her name.
